The Integrated Approach

Why an integrated approach?   Because we are a seamless fusion of mind-body-spirit! 

Everything influences both body and mind and everything is felt in both body and mind.  It makes complete sense to me to never shut the door on any aspect of your Being.  Truly Holistic Coaching and truly Holistice therapy is spacious, open-hearted and embraces the Whole Person. 

You are a unique blend of skills, qualities, values and beliefs.    I will not expect you to drop neatly into a Programme designed for anyone else, or  to progress in the same direction or at the same rate as anyone else.  You are  individual and that is how you will be treated. 

The integrated approach in action

You want to move your life on.  Coaching supports this process yet you find that working toward the changes you seek occasionally creates anxiety or self-doubt.  A two-pronged approach supports optimum success.  On the one hand support to push out the boundaries for change - and on the other working directly on any anxiety and doubt.  By communicating at the cellular level as well as at the level of conscious mind we can swiftly work toward redressing harmony and balance with the greatest opportunity for success.

Tension, stress and many other conditions respond well to Relaxation techniques as well as to the body-mind alighnment gained through working from the principles of Yoga and Meditation.  As we relax, align and develop greater self-awareness we realise we need to make a few changes - where to begin those changes?  Yes!  With Coaching.

The body-mind connection

  • The body always reacts to whatever is going on in the mind
  • Think of a tasty snack and your mouth begins to salivate
  • See your boss approaching with a stern countenance and you tense yourself in readiness for the percieved `attack`.
  • Think of typing a letter and your `typing muscles` tense, playing out the role.

Relaxation Therapy

Relaxation therapy encourges Complete Relaxation within the body and the mind.  It incorporates many techniques and is invaluable when dealing with stress, tension and anxiety along with the debilitating physical and psycholgical effects these states have upon us.

Meditation                  

Meditation helps us refresh, strengthen and clarify the mind and align all aspects of our Being.  It can have a profound effect on our ability to cope with and manage the pressures of our busy lives.  There many styles and techniques associated with Meditation; choose the one that suits you best!

Yoga

Through Yoga we learn to develop a greater awareness of our physical and psychological states.  Hatha Yoga Asana improves muscle tone and flexibility.  It also reduces stress, boosts self-esteem, improves circulation, concentration and creates a sense of calm and connectivity in mind, body and spirit.
